ANZNN CPI2026 Conference

INTRODUCTION

The ANZNN Clinical Practice Improvement Conference (CPI2026) is back in 2026 after the success of last year's conference. The conference will bring together nursing, medical and allied health professionals from across the ANZNN member network to share knowledge and foster collaboration for clinical practice improvement within neonatal units. Founded in 2016, the conference attracts delegates from every member unit as well as local and international guest speakers. Each year we aim to build on previous clinical practice outcomes and set new and ambitious targets to improve the quality and safety of newborn care within our neonatal units!

To encourage nursing and allied health attendance and participation we have again discounted the conference fees, accommodation and travel for a number of eligible sponsored delegates per member unit. Nomination of sponsored delegates must be provided by Directors of ANZNN member units only.

Delegates will meet at the JW Marriott on the beautiful Gold Coast of south east Queensland. ANZNN CPI2026 will be structured over two days. Day 1 will feature international and local guest speakers who will each conclude with a Q& A session as well as abstract presentations from member units. This year, we will again provide a program that runs concurrent plenary sessions so delegates can tailor their conference experience to their subject areas of interest. The conference dinner will be a chance to relax, network and reconnect with colleagues. Day 2 will feature an interactive program with eight breakout groups split across two sessions, meaning each delegate will be able to attend two breakout sessions. Each breakout session will focus on a priority subject area for NICU/SCN clinical practice improvement. Interactive lunch time poster sessions will also be included during the two-day program. Throughout the two days we hope delegates will examine evidence and discuss implementation strategies at the bedside.

Save the dates Sunday 18th to Tuesday 20th October 2026, and we look forward to seeing you in the Gold Coast! Please contact us at anznn@unsw.edu.au for more information.
