ANZNN Council

The ANZNN Council is a standing subcommittee of the Board and is concerned with the general function of the ANZNN, finances and decision making.

Council Charter

 

The Council is comprised of the following:

  • Chair
  • 7 x regional Neonatal Clinician representatives (neonatologist or neonatal nurse): 1 x NZ; 1 x NSW/ACT; 1 x VIC/TAS; 1 x SA/NT; 1 x WA; 1 x QLD; 1 x International
  • 1 x Māori Neonatal Clinician representative
  • 1 x Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Neonatal Clinician representative
  • 2 x Special Care Unit Clinician representatives: 1 x AU, 1 x NZ
  • 2 x Neonatal Nursing College representatives: 1 x ACNN (AU), 1 x NNCA (NZ)
  • 1 x Data Custodian of the ANZNN Clinical Quality Registry
  • 1 x Career neonatologist with research or policy focus
  • Committee/Network Chairs (currently 6: ANZNSN, ANZNRN, SRRC, DCOC, Follow-up, CPI)
  • 2 x Lived Experience representatives, at least 1 of whom identifies as Māori, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • 1 x Data Manager representative
